A Banker at a major retail bank stole a client’s personal confidential information to take out loans and credit cards in the client’s name. The client’s credit reputation that he worked so hard to build over time was decimated. Not getting anywhere on his own with trying to restore his reputation, the client had no choice but to hire a lawyer and sue in federal court. The case eventually settled for $400,000.
