    Class Action Against Restaurant Chain

A client ate at a popular national chain restaurant.  When paying by credit card, the restaurant printed out a receipt with more than the last 5 digits of the client’s credit card number, which violated federal law.  The purpose of the law is to prevent identity theft and fraud.  Partners Matt and Brian, were among the attorneys representing a class of consumers who the restaurant exposed to potential identity theft and fraud.  The case settled for $4,750,000 and is currently pending court approval.
